Case Study - Chews Lane Theatrette

Theatre seating can be defined as a small private media room in a home or a massive 800 seat theatre.  Recent years have seen a move toward smaller theatres and theatrettes in home or as part of residential complexes.  Creating the seating for these spaces is a Kadima speciality as chairs can't just be supplied "off the rack" for areas that differ in dimension, layout and yield.

Subtleties such as floor angle rake, line of site to screen,  step measures, and even compliance to aisle widths/egress points etc all come into play when designing the seating.

Projects such as Chews Lane apartments (pictured), Clyde Quay Wharf, One Market Lane and similar all required product that would seat a variety of people well, was robust, easy to service and most importantly fitted the space available.  Kadima consulted directly with the client and worked with the contracted builders to make sure the seating fitted purpose, and was seamlessly installed at fitout completion.

Roll the credits!  Another Oscar performance from the Kadima team.
